A Celebration of Life for Ms. Christen D. Griffin, 45 of Danville, Alabama will be noon Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at Oakville Christian Faith Center, with Bishop Gary Taylor officiating and Interment at Midway Memorial Gardens (formerly East Lawrence). Public viewing will be Monday, June15, 2020, from 12:00 pm until 5:00 pm at Reynolds Funeral Home. Social distancing will be strictly enforced.
Chris accepted God at an early age at Liberty House of Prayer and later united with Oakville Christian Faith Center.
Chris was preceded in death by her brother, Richard Polk and one grandchild.
Chris will forever be cherished by: her parents, Waymon and Barbara Polk of Oakville, Alabama; her children, Lashara Griffin of Florence, Daniel (Biddy), Demetrae Griffin both of Decatur; sister, Jackie Shalon Griffin; brother, Michael (Shera Polk) of Oakville; stepbrothers, Dezi and Sha King of Decatur; two aunts, Janice Griffin of Moulton and Jessie P. Polk of Oakville; four grandchildren, Harmony, Kayden, Zeke and Grace; a friend, Dale Byrd; a host of other family and friends.
