Congress Ray Nash “Ray” as some knew him “Bae Bro” to the family that loved him an “Stroker” to the many friends that admired him often said that the best name that he was called was Husband by his loving wife of 45 years, and Dad by his children.
Ray was born to the late Minnie L. Hill Nash and William Henry Nash, Sr. on May 27, 1952 in Morgan County. He was called home to be with the Lord on February 21, 2021 in Harvest, AL.
Ray confessed his hope in Christ at an early age and later re-dedicated his life at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of the Rev. Dr. Edward L Owens as Pastor. Ray was a dedicated sports fan and looked forward to three things, Steelers football, Alabama football and spending countless hours watching Westerns. When he was not cooking he was telling stories and using phrases that always kept you laughing. He always kept a smile and never met an enemy.
