Constance Laranda (Randa) Miller

Funeral Service for Ms. Constance “Randa ”Laranda Miller, 53, of Decatur, Alabama will be noon Friday June 13, 2025, in the Chapel of Reynolds Funeral Home with Reverend Dewayne Garth officiating. Inhumation will follow in Penny Cemetery. Ms. Miller will lie in repose one hour prior to service.

Public viewing will be Thursday from 1:00PM until 5:00PM at Reynolds Funeral Home.

Constance LaRanda Miller was born December 17th, 1971 to Martha Sue McDaniel and Coynis Lee Miller in Hillsboro, Alabama. Ms. Miller transitioned on June 2, 2025, at her residence.  

Randa, as she was lovingly called, was the only daughter of the couple and was loved by her two brothers. Randa attended school in Alabama and Tennessee. After returning from Nashville, Randa settled in Decatur, Alabama where she lived and worked and raised her daughter until her passing. She was a faithful member of Flower Hill P.B. Church. Randa was loved by the community and her family.

She was always smiling and loved to make others laugh. She never hesitated to be an encouragement to others with a kind word or a life lesson. She departed this life for her eternal home on June 2nd at her home.

She leaves to cherish her memory a loving and supportive daughter, Jaleesa Miller of Decatur, Alabama and one son, Peyton Head of Decatur, Alabama. She is survived by her sister Christine Strain and two grandchildren, Tyquarius Miller Clay and Taelyn Brielle Jones all of Decatur, and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Coynis Miller and Martha Sue McDaniel and her brothers Lorenzo and Craig Miller. Randa will be truly missedby her family and friends, and her church family. Her-smile and love for others will be remembered and cherished by all who knew her.
