 Graveside Service for Mr. Dan M. Goodlow, 87 of Hillsboro, AL. will 11:00 A.M. Saturday, July 11, 2020 at Annie M. Willingham Memorial Garden with Bishop Curtis Foster officiating. Public viewing will be Friday, 12 pm - 5:00 pm. at Reynolds Funeral Home.

Dan McKinley Goodlow was born August 3, 1932 to the late Percy Sr. and Sarah Billings Goodlow in Lawrence County, Alabama. He departed this life on July 6, 2020 at USA Nursing Home in Decatur, Alabama.

Mr. Goodlow received Christ at an early age and was a devoted member of David Temple Church in Hillsboro, AL. At age 21, he moved to Chattanooga, TN and became a member of Tucker Baptist Church where he was a devoted usher.

Dan was affectionately known by many as “Dan Dan”. He was a former worker for the Chattanooga Times. His favorite past time was gardening and spending time with his family.

Dan was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Lillie Collier, Louise Seals, Mary Crayton, Sarah Goodlow, Percy Goodlow, Jr. ad Willie James Goodlow.

Dan is survived by: his daughters, Diane Vinson of Hillsboro, Caroline Taylor (Paul) of Moulton; grandchildren, Cornelius Vinson (Courtney) of Madison, AL, Sharocka Ray (Christopher) of Town Creek; Coratio Vinson of Montgomery, AL, Marquis Puryear (Ronorick) of Courtland, AL, Shamara Harrison of Sheffield, AL and Roy Garner of Atlanta, GA; 16 great grandchildren; four great grandchildren; one sister, Sallie Eberhardt of Chattanooga, TN; two stepchildren, David Ray and Jean Erwin both of Chattanooga, TN; a devoted friend, Minnie Ray; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
