Dawn Marie Bard, known as DAWNY, passed away on April 8, 2024, in Decatur, Alabama, at the age of 63. She was born on May 26, 1960, in Springfield, Massachusetts.

Dawn will be lovingly remembered by: her daughters, Nina Beal and Ashley Bard; granddaughters, Joria Dawn Bard and Jenesis Marie Bard; sister, Daryl Roberts; niece, Amanda Robert; great niece, Kaiya Roberts; ex- husband and caregiver, Peter Bard; son-in-law, Tyreek Adams and other relatives and friends.

Dawn had a fulfilling career in medical billing and as a manager at Ace Cash Express, but her most cherished role was that of a stay-at- home mom. She was known for her kindness, generosity, and love, especially as an amazing mother and grandmother. In her free time, Dawn enjoyed reading, camping, shopping, and cooking new recipes.

A private memorial service to celebrate Dawn's life will be held at a later date with family and friends. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St. Jude or the American Cancer Society in her honor. Reynolds Funeral Home in Decatur, Alabama, is assisting the family with the funeral arrangements.
