Funeral Service for Deacon Leonard Raybon,77, of Decatur, AL. will be noon Saturday January 31, 2026, at King's Memorial UM Church with the Dr. Chinetha Baker officiating and the Rev. Rodrick Stallworth host pastor. Inhumation will follow in Decatur City Cemetery. Deacon Raybon will lie in repose one hour prior to service.
Public viewing will be Friday January 30,2026 from 1:00PM until 4:00PM at Reynolds Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 4:00PM until 5:00PM.
Leonard Earl Raybon was born in Decatur, Alabama on June 15, 1948 to Thomas and Evelyn Louise Wilkins Raybon. He departed this life January 19, 2026 in Ooltewah, Tennessee.
Leonard was preceded in death by: his father, mother, grandparents: Leroy and Blanche Barrett Wilkins and Bud and Grace Raybon, four brothers, Clifton, Walter, William and Tommy Raybon, uncles Leonard Parker and Melvin Shabazz and aunt, Helen Mansfield.
He leaves to cherish his memory: two sons, Edward Raybon and Tory Young; a daughter, Chasity Bailey and husband Vaughn Bailey, two granddaughters, Annika Garren and Silas Young; a brother, Wilkins Raybon (Belinda); a sister, Sametta Brown (Henry). A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
