Funeral services for Ms. Dell Margaret Moore 76 of Decatur, Alabama will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at True Faith Ministries Life Center (the building facing the right of the sanctuary) with the Reverend Marvin L. Pinchon Sr. officiating. Inhumation will follow in Sterrs Cemetery. The body will lie repose one hour prior to service. Public viewing will be Monday from 1:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Reynolds Funeral Home Chapel. Ms. Moore transitioned on January 9, 2022 at Huntsville Hospital.
Dell Margaret Moore was born June 14, 1945 in Somerville, AL to the parentage of the late John Blount (JB) Robinson and Eliner Russell Moore. Her stepfather was the late George P. Moore. She was the youngest of seven children. She was preceded in death by her siblings and granddaughter Shanice (Aaliyah) Garth.
Ms. Moore confessed her love for Christ at early age and united with Sandhill Missionary Baptist Church in Priceville, AL. She later joined First Missionary Baptist Church in Decatur, AL. Lastly, she continued her walk with Christ at Agape Ministries in Somerville, AL. Ms. Moore loved her family dearly. She was a loving and dedicated mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, niece, co-worker and friend.
Ms. Moore made her transition from Earth to Glory on January 9, 2022 at Huntsville Hospital.
She leaves to cherish her memory: a daughter, Wanda (Albert) Elliott of Decatur; three sons, Michael (Lora) Garth of Leighton, AL, Wilson (Latrena) Moore of Decatur and Anthony (Sherrill) Moore of Athens, AL; twelve loving grandchildren, Rika (Clavion) Goldsmith of Hoover, AL, Quentin Wilkerson, Whitney Cross, Victoria Cross all of Decatur, Daryl Redus of Bellevue, NE, Lajasamine Wright of Leighton, AL, Brittney (Adam) Buttleman, Portia Hill both of Decatur, Crystal (Bryce) Lipscomb of Muscle Shoals, AL, Jalisa Turner of Athens, AL, Anthony D. Moore Jr and Jeremy Cross both of Decatur; twenty-seven great-grandchildren; a very special aunt, Ms. Naomi McGhee of Gadsden, AL; a special friend, Ted Johnson Jr; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, co-workers and friends.
