Denise La'Shell Moody

A Celebration of Life for Denise La’Shell Moody, 31 of Decatur will be noon Saturday, March 9, 2019 at Reynolds Funeral Home with The Reverend Patrick Franklin officiating. Public viewing will only be one hour prior to funeral .

Denise was born September 24, 1987 in Birmingham, Alabama to Darrell Scruggs and the late Flora Gene Elliott Moody.  She departed this life on March 3, 2019 in Decatur, Alabama.

Denise accepted Christ at an early age.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Flora Moody.

Ms. Moody leaves to cherish her memory: her sons, Kimarion Mozell Moody and Ja’marion Rheim Stripe; daughter, Kimora Moody; two sisters, Tomoko Elliott and Marquitta Elliott; ex-husband, Rogelio Stripe; four brothers, Willie Bruce Moody and her twin brother, Darius Moody, D’Angelo Rogers and Jabari Sharpley all of Decatur; special cousin, Latonya Elliott; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
