Deshaun Labraunt Lewis

Funeral Service for Mr. Deshaun Labraunt Lewis,18, Decatur will be noon Saturday at Macedonia C.P. Church in America with Dr. Lynne G. Herring officiating and Minister Rodney Gordon eulogist. Inhumation will follow in Sterrs Cemetery.

The body will lie in repose one hour prior to service. Public viewing will be Friday from 1:00PM until 5:00PM at Reynolds Funeral Home.

On December 20, 2006 in Decatur, Alabama a beautiful curly headed little boy name Deshaun Labraunt Lewis was born to Lancaster and  Bianca Harris Lewis. Such as joy, he was with a glow of a smile resembling his grandfather, Willie Gee Gordon Brown. Deshawn transitioned to be with the Lord in February 1, 2025 In Decatur, Alabama.

Deshaun attended Decatur city schools. His nickname was” Big John” as his father’s family named him. Deshaun enjoyed sports, his family, and he was loved by many, and he was loved by all with his comical and entertaining personality. Deshaun was his mom’s right-hand man and a joy in her life and a big hero for his little siblings. like father, like son, his bond with his father was unbreakable, unshaken, and solid.

Deshaun was preceded in death by his grandfather; Willie Gordon Brown; great- grandparents,  Mr. Bobby Gordon Sr; and Nathan Dean.

Deshaun leaves to cherish his memory: Mother. Bianca Harris Lewis; father, Lancaster Deshaun Lewis; siblings; Landon Lewis, Zyon Lewis, Kingston Lewis, Kirsten Lewis, Kiyan Lewis all of Decatur, AL and a host of aunts, uncles, great aunts and uncles, and a  host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
