Dora " Lisa" Troupe

Funeral Service for Ms. Dora Troupe, 63, of Madison, Alabama will be 1:00PM Saturday in Reynolds Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Fred Jefferson officiating. The body will lie in repose one hour prior to service. Public viewing will be Friday from noon until 5:00PM at Reynolds Funeral Home.  

Dora Lisa Reeves Troupe a beloved wife, mother, and friend was born June 18, 1961 to ArWille and Annie Louise Herring Reeves in the vibrant city of Hartselle, Alabama. She peacefully transitioned to her heavenly home on July 7, 2024 surrounded by her loving family in Madison, Alabama.

"Lisa" as she was affectionately called by any and all who knew her dedicated her life to the Lord at an early age and joined Hartselle Missionary Baptist Church. She maintained her belief in God while standing strong in her faith. Lisa was a proud graduate from Hartselle High School Class of 1979. She went on to further her education by attending Nursing School. She had a proficient and extensive career in public service, where she received many accolades for exceeding expectations in her role as an overseer of multiple properties.

On July 10, 1984 she wed Ollie Troupe Jr. and to this union three beautiful children were born; Jessica, Marquese and Jasmine who were the light of her life.

She was preceded in death by; her grandparents, Mackie Neil Herring and Dora Humprey; her parents, ArWille and Annie Louise Reeves; brother, Don Juan Reeves and niece Kasey Reeves.

She leaves to cherish her memory: her devoted husband, Ollie Troupe Jr.; three loving children, Jessica of Hartselle, AL, Marquese (Minesha) of Madison, AL, Jasmine of Decatur, AL; three precious granddaughters, Aaliyah, Mariah, and Khloe; nieces, Dionne Reeves of Huntsville, AL and Angie Trone-Wynn of Chattanooga TN; great nephews, Marlon Trone of Atlanta, GA and Jordon Reeves of Fayetteville, TN; two great nieces, Kasey Reeves and Kennedy Grubbs both of Huntsville AL; and a host of other relatives, friends, classmates and coworkers.
