Homegoing Service for Mrs. Doris Coleman,74, of Decatur, AL will be noon Saturday Minor Hill M.B. Church with the Rev. Leo Fuqua officiating. Inhumation will follow in Decatur City Cemetery. The body will lie in repose one hour prior to service. Public viewing will be Friday from 1:00PM until 5:00PM at Reynolds Funeral Home.

Doris Jean Stover Coleman was born in Decatur, AL on June 4, 1950. She was born to James Houston and Elizabeth Stover. She departed this life on March 17, 2025, at her residence. Doris joined Minor Hill M.B. Church at a young age, where she sang in the choir.

Doris was preceded in death by her parents James Houston and Elizabeth Stover Randall, her husband, Herman Coleman; brother, James Stover; sister, Nora Randall, daughter, Yvette Fuller (Pooh).

Doris is survived by her sons, Kelvin Stover (Ashley) and Mario Stover (Carol); siblings, Dr. James Houston (Beverly) of Lakewood Ranch, FL, Vonzella Jordan (James) of Atlanta, GA, Deidre Houston Myles (Jarrod), Orlando Houston of Bessemer, AL, Earline Randall, Delores Randall; grandchildren, LaShay Terry (Cody), Taylor Fuller, MJ Fuller, Camden Fuller, Jasmine Stover, Jamiya Stover, Josalyn Stover, Kelvin Stover, Jr., Sophia Stover, Elizabeth Stover; great grandchildren, Mia Terry and Alyiah Terry; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
