Doris Jackson Obituary

A Celebration of Life for Mrs. Doris A. Jackson, 80 of Moulton, Alabama will be noon Monday, May 10, 2021 at Freeman Tabernacle Baptist Church with the Reverend Timothy Perryman officiating and burial in Moulton Memory Gardens. The body will lie in repose one hour prior to service. Public viewing will be Saturday from noon to 6:00 pm and Monday from 9:00 am till 10:00 am at Reynolds Funeral Home.  

Doris Ann McDaniel Jackson was born to Dave and Lila Mae Owens McDaniel on March 3, 1941. She departed this life on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at her residence.

Doris  accepted Christ at an early age and was an active member of Freeman Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church until becoming ill.

Doris received great joy by showing her love for people through cooking. Her desire was for no one to be hungry and was always willing to feed those in need.

Doris loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, extended family, planting flower and working in her garden.

Doris retired from Delphi after working many years.

Doris was preceded in death by: her husband, Edonice Jackson; her parents, Dave and Lila Mae McDaniel; two sisters, Linda Faye Echols and Odessa Lee.

Doris leaves to cherish her memory: three loving and devoted children, Beverly Boyd (Larry) of Florence, AL, Timothy Jackson of Moulton, AL and Michelle Elliott of Harvest, AL; grandchildren, Senethia Duke, Oshoa Jones, Keiana Willis, Angel Elliott, Tyrie Fletcher and Jackson Alexander; sisters, Lois Garner (James) of Town Creek, AL, Margaret Warren of Landersville,  AL, Alice Chapman of Decatur, AL; a very special niece, Freda Jackson, who provided unconditional love and cared for her aunt Doris until her death; a special godson that she loved dearly, Wade Stover; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
