Eddie Troupe Obituary

Funeral Service for Mr. Eddie Dean Troupe,72 of Belle Mina, Alabama will be 1:00PM Sunday at Round Island Creek Mission Center. Inhumation will follow in Thatch-Mann Cemetery The body will lie in repose one hour prior to service. Public viewing will be Saturday from noon until 4:00PM at Reynolds Funeral Home

Eddie Dean Troupe was born on Sunday, July 15, 1951, to the late Robert Lee Orr and Emma Dean Troupe and Tom Eddie Troupe. In Limestone County. 

Eddie gave his life to Christ at an early age and joined Bethlehem Primitive Baptist Church in Greenbriar, AL, under the leadership of the late Reverend Willie Eddie Owes. He later joined Morning Star United Methodist Church in Belle Mina, AL under the leadership of Pastor Fred Jefferson. The church then merged with Belle Mina United Methodist Church where he remained a faithful member under Pastor Cody Gilliam until June 24, 2024.

Eddie was a good and faithful husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, friend, co-worker and best of all,

a good and faithful Christian.

Eddie was preceded in death by; his eldest son, Ryan Dean Troupe; and younger brother, Donald Gene Troupe.

He leaves to cherish his beautiful memory: a loving and devoted wife, Glenda Troupe; a daughter, Tiffany Troupe; a son, Calvin Troupe; mothers-in-law, Edna Mae Russell and Ella Mae Pitts; father-in-law, Jimmy Charles Pitts; grandchildren, Pierre Troupe, Hannah Troupe, Patience Troupe, Za’Ryan Troupe, Zenobia Troupe; seven great grandchildren, Ma’Kinsley, Draylen, Gabrielle, Dakota, Ryan, Hayden, Landon Troupe; brothers, Kenneth (Debra) Moore, James (Carolyn) Williams, Ronald Troupe and Stephen Troupe; sisters, Glenda McLin, Georgia Scott, Janice Smith, Corene Troupe, Roxie (John) Harris, Ardelia Johnson; sisters-in-law, Mary Johnson and Martha Pitts; Eddie also leaves to cherish his beautiful memory, a good friend and uncle, James Dortch, along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and church family members who will miss him forever.

. Mr. Troupe transitioned June 24, 2024, at the Decatur Campus of Decatur Morgan Hospital.
