Funeral Service for Mr. Elijah Bailey Roberts,29, of Charlotte, NC will be noon Friday at St. Peter M.B. Church with the Reverend Jerry Baker officiating and Minister Therlow Roberts Eulogist. Inhumation will follow in Decatur City Cemetery. Mr. Roberts will lie in repose one hour prior to service.

Public viewing will be Thursday from 1:00PM until 5:00PM at Reynolds Funeral Home.

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Elijah Bailey Roberts, son of Anthony and Tanya Bailey Roberts. It is with profound joy that Elijah’s confession of faith was heard in the sight of God and the presence of witnesses, Elijah transitioned on January 6, 2026, at Atrium Medical Center in Charlotte, North Carolina, at 7:03 p.m. Elijah was born July 17, 1996, at St. Barnabas Hospital in Livingston, New Jersey. He attended West Orange High School ln West Orange, New Jersey, and went on to receive His bachelor’s degree in marketing from Mercyhurst University in Erie, Pennsylvania. Elijah was employed at Town Square Interactive ln Charlotte, North Carolina, as a manager of the marketing team for the past seven years. Elijah was a Philadelphia Eagles fan, and a flag football player. He loved traveling, socializing with friends and most importantly studying the word of God with his friends and Bible study team. He was preceded in death by his mother, Tanya Bailey Roberts; brother, Taj Anthony Roberts; grandparents, Charles Johnson, Sylvia Bailey Johnson, and Howard (Rosetta) Manns Roberts. He leaves to cherish his memory: father, Minister Therlow Anthony (Brenda) Roberts; two brothers, Jarad (Patricia) Roberts and Jeremy Roberts; two sisters, Melonie Bailey and Tiana Hamlett; stepbrother; Broderick Kirk; an uncle, Samuel Roberts; and three aunts, Wilette Roberts, Beverly Roberts, and Ramona Roberts; three nephews, Gavin Roberts, Gage Roberts and Guyus Roberts.
and a host of cousins and close relatives.
