Eric Duane Griffin

A Celebration of Life for Mr. Eric Duane Griffin 20 of Decatur, Alabama will be 1:00PM, Thursday, December 27, 2018 at Macedonia C.P. Church with the Rev. Ivan Pride officiating.  Inhumation will follow in Roselawn Garden of Memory.  The body will be placed in the church one hour prior to the funeral.  The public may view Mr. Griffin on Wednesday from 2-7 at Reynolds Funeral Home.

Eric entered this life on April 25, 1998 in Decatur, Alabama to the late Jo Ann Griffin. He departed on Friday, December 21, 2018 at the Decatur General Campus of Decatur Morgan Hospital.

He confessed his faith in Christ at an early age and was a member of Hartselle Missionary Baptist Church.  He was a 2016 graduate of Austin High School and was employed at Walmart.  He was a person of love, strength and loyalty.

He was preceded in death by: his mother, Jo Ann Griffin; grandparents, Minnie Lee Griffin and Hence Griffin Jr.; one aunt, Alice Griffin; and cousin, Tracy Griffin Moore. 

He leaves to cherish his memory: three sisters, Jakhala Griffin, Teyaka (Samuel) Thomas and Kimberly Jackson; one brother, Derrick Griffin; aunt, Brenda Griffin all of Decatur, AL and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.

Flower bearers and pallbearers will be classmates of Austin High School class of 2016.
