Memorial Visitation for Mr. Eric Jermaine Jackson, 40 of Decatur, Alabama will be from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM Sunday, May 7, 2023 at Reynolds Funeral Home.

Eric Jermaine Jackson was born September 1, 1982 to Edbert Wayne Jackson and Bettye Turnbo Jackson in Mobile, Alabama. He transitioned on May 2, 2023 at Huntsville Hospital in Huntsville, Alabama.

Eric attended Cedar Ridge Middle School in Decatur where he played basketball and football.  He also went to Austin High School until he relocated to Mobile where he graduated from Vigor High School. He was employed at the Westin Hotel in Huntsville, Alabama as a Floor Supervisor.

He was gifted with drawing and could draw anything. He enjoyed having fun and making people laugh, listen to music and dancing.   His favorite hobby was fishing with his father.

Jermaine leaves to cherish his memory: his mother, Bettye Turnbo Jackson of Mobile, Alabama; his father, Edbert Wayne Jackson of Decatur, Alabama; two siblings, Monte (Kimberly) Harrell of Dallas, Georgia and Katrina (Willie) Roberson of Mobile Alabama; grandmother, Ms. Mabel Jackson of Decatur, Alabama; 12 uncles and aunts and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends; and his dog, Royal who he raised from 8 weeks old.
