Eva Ann (Evans) Washington

Homegoing Service for Mrs. Eva Ann Evans Washington 81 of Hartselle, Alabama will be noon Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at St. Mark Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Kenneth Owens officiating. Inhumation will follow in Sterrs Cemetery. The body will lie in repose one hour prior to service. Public viewing will be June 28, 2022 from 1:00PM until 6:00PM at Reynolds Funeral Home.

Eva Ann (Evans) Washington was born September 21, 1940 in Morgan County, Alabama to James and Queen Evans. On June 23, 2022 she departed this life in Decatur, Alabama.

She was a faithful member of St. Mark P.B. Church until her health began to decline.

She was preceded in death by her husband Orsteen Washington, sisters Marie Jones and Revell Lane, and son Kenneth Washington.

She leaves to cherish her memory:two devoted sons; Felix (Odell) Washington of Rockford, IL,  Pastor Gabe (Leacie) Jolly of Tupelo, MS; two loving daughters, Dorcas (James) Stewart of Hartselle, AL, Gracie Owens of Decatur, AL; eight grandchildren, Latasha (Dominique) Giles, Calais Graves, Kendra Owens, Porsha (Lewis) Conley, Paris Lopez, Austin Washington, Latesha (Skyye) Jones, Ken (Jennifer) Owens, five great grandchildren; one sister, Lizzie M. Boyd of Chattanooga, TN and a special adopted daughter Sheryle (Nene) Perkins.
