Felice Inett Tucker

A Celebration of Life for Felice Inett Tucker, 69 of Decatur, Alabama will be held on Tuesday, September 10th at 11:00 AM at Lifeline Church. Inhumation will follow at Sterrs Cemetery. The body will lie in repose one hour prior to service.  Public viewing will be Monday from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Reynolds Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Monday, September 9th from 5-6:30 PM at Moulton Heights MB Church.

Felice Tucker was born in Decatur, Alabama on August 15, 1955 to the late Thomas James Tucker, Sr. and Lucille Glover Tucker. She departed this life on September 3, 2024 at Parkway Campus of Decatur Morgan Hospital.

Felice graduated from West Morgan High School in 1973.  She then attended Calhoun Community College and received a Cosmetology Certification.  She later moved to Kalamazoo, Michigan where she owned and operated Silhouettes Beauty Salon.  After 14 years of living in Michigan, she relocated back home to Decatur, Alabama.  She recently was employed by her daughter and worked for Z Reign Inc.

She accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Moulton Heights Missionary Baptist Church in Decatur.

She enjoyed fishing, going out to breakfast with her sisters, watching Japanese movies, spending time with her family and especially her grandkids.

She was preceded in death by her parents, granddaughter, Tokia Brasher; brother, Alfred Tucker and her sister Gean Tucker Johnson who died in an automobile accident with her; and two aunts, Dora Tucker, Carrie Tucker

She leaves to cherish her memory: her daughter, Miranda Tucker Blackwood; two grandchildren, Kashus D. Blackwood and Zyah Reign Blackwood; siblings, Thomas Tucker Jr, Patsy Gail Thorne, Jerry (Bessie) Tucker, Henry Tucker and Forrest (Latonya) Tucker; aunts: Doris Jones, Decatur, AL; Elizabeth Scott, Hempstead, NY and Fredda Tucker, Memphis, TN and a host of many relatives and friends.
