George Nigel “Nicky” Hearring III

A Celebration of Life for Mr. George Nigel Hearring III, 48 of Hartselle, Alabama will be 11:00 A.M. Monday, August 17, 2020 at Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home with the Reverend Billy Ray Young officiating. Inhumation will follow in Hartselle Memory Gardens with Reynolds directing.  The family will receive friends on Sunday from 4-5 at Hartselle Heritage.  Public viewing will be Sunday from noon till 2:45 at Reynolds Funeral Home. Mr. Hearring passed away August 10, 2020 at Cullman Regional Medical Center in Cullman, AL.  

On Monday, August 10, 2020, George Nigel Hearring, III answered the Lord’s call to come home. Nicky, as he was fondly called was the second of four children born to then Drill Sgt. George Hearring and his wife Molly Woods Hearring on February 18, 1972. He was born at the Army Hospital at Ft. Jackson, South Carolina.

Nicky joined Hartselle First Missionary Baptist Church at the age of 14 in 1986.  He received his formal education from the Hartselle City School System.

George Nigel Hearring III was united in Holy Matrimony on April 10, 2013 to Selina Rudder Hearring.

George Nigel Hearring III was preceded in death by his grandparents; James and Mary James Hearring, George and Ellen Woods; one brother, Micheal J. Hearring.

George Nigel Hearring III leaves to cherish his memory: his wife of seven years, Selina Hearring of Hartselle; his parents, George and Molly Hearring of Hartselle; his children, Lakeisha Milam (H.) of Hoover, AL, Keontae Lucas of Birmingham, AL, Tamra Lampkin, HeavenLee Hearring, Auburn Hearring all of Hartselle; two sisters, April Hearring, Danielle Hearing both of Hartselle; one brother, Golden Richard Hearring of Hartselle; one step-daughter, Elizabeth of Moulton, AL; two step-sons, Michael Owens and Blake Owens; one grandchild, Elijah Blake Milam; and many other relatives and friends.
