Jimmy Donald Davis

Memorial Service for Mr. Jimmy Donald Davis , 62 of Decatur, AL. will be 3:00 pm Saturday, July 31, 2021 at Reynolds Funeral Home with Theodore Lindsey officiating. 

Jimmy D. Davis was born March 25, 1959 to the late Reverend Percy Davis, Sr. and Katherine Turney Davis of Hartselle, AL. He departed this life on July 27, 2021 in Decatur, AL.

He accepted Christ at an early age and joined Hartselle M.B. Church under the leadership of the late Pastor Charles Huggins.

Jimmy attended Morgan County Training School and Hartselle High School where he graduated.  He was formerly employed by C&L Wood until his health began to fail.

He is preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Percy Davis Jr.,  Chester Davis and Tony Davis; one sister, Mae Kathen Elliott.

Jimmy leaves to cherish his memory; a sister, Marilyn (Larry) Jones of Hartselle; a loving companion, Rhonda Wilson of Decatur; six stepchildren, Kelley Cooper Lovelady, Stratton Smith, Roxann Burnett, Brian Burnett of Hartselle, Quenton Wilson, Shanna Wilson of Decatur; aunts, Eloise Turney Chaves and Dorthy Dunkin of Chicago, IL; one uncle, Charles Turney of Pittsburg, PA; sisters-in-law, Mable Davis and Barbara Davis of Decatur, AL; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Covid 19 Regulations are in force. Masks must be worn inside the funeral home.
