A Celebration of Life Service for Mrs. JoAnn Tucker Brown, 65 of Decatur, Alabama will be held on Sunday, July 11, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Moulton Heights M.B. Church with Bishop Don Hurth officiating. Interment will be in Sterrs Cemetery. Public viewing will be held on Saturday from 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm at Reynolds Funeral Home with Family Visitation from 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm.
Jo Ann Tucker Brown was born September 12, 1955 in Decatur, Alabama to the late Mary Fannie Moore Tucker and Clarence Tucker, Sr. Mrs. Brown transitioned peacefully at her daughter’s residence on July 5, 2021 surrounded by her family.
She worked until she became ill. She had love for everyone and was loved by everyone she encountered. Her doors were always open to anyone in need.
She was preceded in death by; her parents; brothers, James Harold Moore, Ronnie Ray Moore and Clarence Edward Tucker, Jr.; lifelong companion, James Harris, Sr.
JoAnn leaves to cherish her loving memory: her children, Regina Tucker Corbitt (Eddie), Mekesha Tapscott (Jacqus), Carolyn Williams (Reco); stepson, James Harris, Jr, (Jennifer); grandkids, Asia Tucker, Caleisha Collins (Quentin), Robin Tucker, Danaisha White, Alex Baker, Raeshad Harris,, Dareco Williams, Jacquese Tapscott, Malachi Tapscott; step-grandchildren, Kaylin Harris and Markus Harris; eight great-grandchildren; special great-grandkids, Derrick Woodruff and Kash Tucker that resided with her; aunts, Elizabeth Scott of Hempstead, NY, Doris Jones and Dora Tucker both of Decatur; a very special niece, Sonya Carter; special friends, Gloria Jackson, Janice Henderson, Neely Gray Mosley and Janice Randolph; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
