Johnny Wayne Griffin

Graveside service for Mr. Johnny Griffin, 64 of Danville, Alabama will be 1:00 pm Tuesday at Hartselle Memory Gardens with Elder Joe Batts officiating. Public viewing will be Monday from 2:00 pm till 7:00 pm at Reynolds Funeral Home.

Mr. Johnny Wayne Griffin was born in Lawrence County, Alabama on June 11, 1956 to the late Wallace Orr and Velma Griffin. Johnny was raised by the late Ruby S. Orr and the late Grady Williams. He departed this life on February 18, 2021 at Huntsville Hospital in Huntsville, Alabama.

Johnny attended Morgan County Training School in Hartselle, AL. He was a member of Breakthrough Ministries for Christ located in Hartselle AL. Johnny was affectionally known as “Bo” to anyone who knew him. He was considered a jokester and loved to laugh .

Johnny was preceded in death by: his parents: one sister, Jennifer Warren; three brothers, Bobby Wayne Williams, Jessie Williams and John L. Williams.

Johnny leaves to cherish his memory: six sisters, Lois Batts ( Herman ), Rose Mary  Orr ( Raphel ) both of Hartselle, AL, Patricia Batts( Joe), Jackolene Orr both of Danville, AL, Oreanell Hurley and Rosie Pearl Burgess both of Decatur, AL;  two brothers, Jimmy Williams (Diane) of Decatur, AL. and Richard Williams (Angel ) of Danville AL. L. and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, and many friends.
