Graveside services for Ms. Kendra Denise Birdsong, 35 of Decatur, Alabama will be 11:00AM Saturday at Sterrs Cemetery. The body will lie in repose one hour prior to service. Public viewing will be Friday from 1:00PM until 6:00PM at Reynolds Funeral Home. Ms. Birdsong transitioned July 31, 2022, at the Decatur Morgan Hospital-Decatur General Campus.  Family requests that all charitable donations be made to Reynolds Funeral Home.

Kendra Denise Birdsong was born on June 6, 1987, to Karen Birdsong and James Harris. She was called home on Sunday, July 31, 2022, at Decatur Morgan Hospital, Decatur General Campus.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Kevin Jamaal Birdsong; godmother, Elzora Kelly; great-grandmother, Ida Mae Birdsong; grandfather, James Harris, Sr.; one great uncle, Billy Birdsong; four great-great aunts, Elzora Kelly, Edna Evans, Betty Pointer and Florence McDonald; two great-great uncles, John Birdsong and Charles Birdsong.

Kendra leaves to cherish her memory; her mother, Karen Birdsong; her father, James Harris; one son, Christian Birdsong; three sisters, Jerika Birdsong (Shundrea) of Madison, AL, Mia and Kaylin Harris, Birmingham, AL; four brothers, Darrius Birdsong of Decatur, AL, Martavyous Birdsong of Huntsville, AL and Markus Harris of Decatur, AL; grandmother, Lillie Birdsong (Robert) of Decatur; one great-great aunt, Mary Birdsong of Decatur; one uncle, Mark Williams of Athens, AL; six aunts, Terri Campbell (Mario) of Decatur, Cheryl Turner (David) of Decatur, Latorya Gaiter of Huntsville, AL, Michelle Bynum (Darrius) of Decatur, Rashonda Tucker of Kentucky, Carolyn Williams of Decatur, Jerri Bolding of Selma, AL, Keshia Tapscott of Decatur; a host of cousins and friends.
