Kenneth Dean Burrow known as " Kenn was born on December 21, 1953, and passed away June 17, 2024, in Trinity, Alabama. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Theresa " TJ" Burrow, his son, Kenneth Dean Burrow II, daughter Joy Renee, stepchildren Shaun and Anthony Murray, along with many grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; four sisters, Linda, Colleen, Vickie, and his twin Karen.
Kenn had a rich professional life that spanned various roles, including being a Bishop who helped in the ministries at Independent Churches United, an Apostle at Mountain Top Ministries International, and Bishop at Job's Place Ministry, among others. Kenn studied at the Kingdom Business Bible Training Center, and also served as a former Apostle and Prophet at Vision Ministries International. He and his wife and partner served in their personal ministry GEM (Gathering Eagles Ministries) for nearly 38 years together. He also worked in diverse fields such as Parts Sales Manager at AutoZone, Area Manager for Domino's Pizza, and an Insurance Agent for Life, Health, and Accident policies. He also had decades of experience as a Radio Broadcaster in Christian and secular platforms and worked as a TV Reporter and Bureau Chief.
HIs life was marked by service to others, particularly the most vulnerable in society, Kenn dedicated himself to ministering to the homeless, hungry, and grieving, believing that everyone could find solace in the Lord. He was fluent in four languages, including Spanish and German, to better connect with and help those in need.
Kenn was known for his infectious smile, genuine demeanor, and clean sense of humor that brought joy to everyone he met. His humility, gratitude, and dedication to reaching those in need defined his character. He valued making his wife laugh daily as part of their marriage vows. His legacy of love, ministry, and family will continue through his wife and those he impacted.
One of Kenn's favorite phrases was " Get Ready, Be Ready and Stay Ready!" The Kingdom of God is closer than you think!" His impact and mission will endure.
A Memorial Service will be held in his honor, with opportunities for virtual attendance through social media for those unable to be present. Kenn's love will live on, and those touched by his kindness are forever blessed by his presence. Mr. Burrow transitioned June 18, 2024, at the Decatur Campus of Decatur Morgan Hospital. A private memorial will be held at a later date.
