Funeral for Mr. Kevin Kirk Bell will be 2:00 pm, Sunday at Macedonia Cumberland Presbyterian Church in America with the Rev. George Allen Jr. officiating and burial in Decatur City Cemetery.  Public viewing will be Friday from 2-6 and Saturday from 10-6 at Reynolds Funeral Home.

Kevin Kirk Bell was born in Birmingham, Alabama to Carolyn Sue Kirk and Willie Hugh Bell on August 17, 1974.  He departed this life on March 14, 2014. Kevin attended Decatur City Schools. He was very comical, smart, kindhearted, conservative, not a risk taker, charming and loved by his family. He was a Roll Tide fan that never met a stranger. He was a “Jack of all Trades”.  He started every morning with “Father God..” On March 14 at 11:15 he posted the following: “I’m a strong-minded person. I want y’all to be the same. Love yourself and everybody else;;; Just something I want y’all to know. 100 100 100”.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Alexander and Maxie Kirk and Arthur and Melinda Bell.

Kevin leaves to cherish his memory: a mother, Carolyn Sue Kirk of Athens; a father, Willie Hugh (Carolyn) Bell of Tuscaloosa, AL; a loving companion, Pauline Smith of Decatur; a son, James Bell “Mook-Mook” of Decatur; a daughter, Taniya Chatman “Toodie” of Athens; six loving sisters, Ericka Bell, Caren Bell, Carla Bell, Tiffany Bell, Mia Bell all of Decatur and Lecretia Bell of Tuscaloosa, AL; brothers, Jullian Bell, Mark Bell of Decatur and Tyler Bell of Tuscaloosa, AL; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers are  Keithen Bell, Kenaris Robinson, Billy Kirk, Roderick Bell, Javarious Malone and Larry Hines. Flower Girls are: Tiara Johnson, Katina Lampkin,  Farrah Bell,                                   Jasmine Pino, Aaliyah Lewis and Jacy Mosely.
