Funeral Services for Mr. Khende Evans, 49 of Decatur, Alabama will be 1:00PM Saturday in Reynolds Funeral Home Chapel with Apostle JoAnne Curry officiating. The body will lie in repose one hour prior to service. Public viewing will be Friday from 1:00PM until 5:00 PM.
Khendle Joel Evans, was born October 9, 1973 to Shirley Mae Evans and the late Joe Lewis. He entered peacefully into eternal rest on February 4, 2023 at 10:14 pm at his home in Decatur Alabama surrounded by his mother, children and siblings.
Khendle "BB"' as he was called by his family and friend, as a child loved robots, motorcycles, Godzilla movies and wrestling. He graduated in 1991 from Hubbard High School in Chicago where he was a member of the band and basketball team. He began working at an early age and his first job was at Au Bon Pain. He lived in Chicago until the passing of his adoptive mom and aunt Emma Jean Woods in 1994. He attended Ohio State University where he received his Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security. In May, 2022, he enrolled at Southern New Hampshire University and maintained a 3.7 GPA until his health began to decline.
He accepted Christ as his personal Savoir at Harvest Time Christian Fellowship, under the leadership of Apostle Joann Curry in Florida.
"BB° Loved electronic. He was a big gamer and liked playing the X-Box. He was very outgoing, met no strangers, and traveled in many states. He will be sadly missed by all that knew him.
