Funeral Service for Ms. LaTasha Renee Wade, 42, of Huntsville and formerly of Decatur, Alabama will be noon Friday, January 31, 2025, at United Pentecostal Jubilee House of Prayer. Inhumation will follow in Sterrs Cemetery. The body will lie in repose one hour prior to service. Public viewing will be Thursday January 30, 2025, from 1:00PM until 4:00PM at Reynolds Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Thursday January 30, 2025, from 4:00PM until 5:00PM in Reynolds Funeral Home Chapel.
LaTasha Renee Wade was born in Decatur, Alabama on August 16,1982. She was the daughter of Amos and Christine Williams. LaTasha departed from this life on January 21, 2025 at Crestwood Hospital in Huntsville, Alabama.
LaTasha accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Mt. Olive Primitive Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Amos Williams Sr. LaTasha was a graduate of Decatur High School Class of 2001 and also studied at Alabama A&M University.
She was preceded in death by: her mother, Christine Williams; grandmothers, Bobbie Sue Davis and Alveta Bell Hall; grandfathers, James Harper and Amos Lee Williams.
She leaves to cherish her memory: father, the Rev. Amos Williams Sr. (Eulanda) of Decatur, AL; Fiancée, Truman Batts of Huntsville, AL; brother, Pastor Amos Williams Jr. (Jessica) of Madison, AL; three sisters, LaQuita Williams, Chiquita Davis (Anthony), and Shaheta “Sweet Pea” Gladney (Brandon) all of Decatur, AL; a special cousin, Phillip Fletcher; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
