A Celebration of Life for Mr. Lavoris Deshun “Crusha” Hampton, 40 of Decatur will be noon Saturday at Bethlehem P.B. Church with Pastor Matthew Hampton, officiating and private interment in Sanford Memory Gardens at a later date. Public viewing will be Friday from noon to 7:00 p.m.
Lavoris Deshun Hampton affectionately known as “Crusher” was born on June 26, 1977 in Decatur, Alabama to Ann Hampton and Carl Miller, Sr.
He confessed hope in Christ at an early age and was a member of Bethlehem P.B. Church, in Hillsboro, AL
Shun leaves to cherish his memory: a daughter, Maya Hampton of Kennesaw, GA; his loving and dedicated mother, Ann Hampton of Decatur; a loving and devoted father, Carl Miller Sr. (Rose) of Hillsboro, AL; five sisters, Kimberly Grays, Katrina Hampton, Crystal McDay, Tamatha Jones all of Decatur and Jeanine McDaniel of Atlanta, GA; one brother, Carl Miller, Jr. of Decatur; a grandmother, Hortense Miller of Hillsboro, AL; a host of loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins; a very special friend, Tyneshia Jones of Bessemer, AL.
Pallbearers will be Edwin Hampton, Jarrod Hampton, Quentin Jones, Jarvis Hampton, Shannon Owens, Blake Hampton, Greg Harris, Quinnin Gray, Jay Brinkley, Maurcey Randolph and Shanon Foster. Flower Girls will be Cousins.
