Levon Chatman Obituary
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, at Mt. Pleasant M.B. Church, 1:00 p.m. with the Reverend Scott J. Coffey officiating and interment at the Draper/Chatman Cemetery. The body will lie in repose one hour prior to the funeral. Public viewing will be Thursday, 3:00-6:00 p.m. and Friday, 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. at Reynolds Funeral Home.
Mr. Levon Chatman was born on August 5, 1963 in Morgan County, Alabama, to Idella Chatman. He departed this life on February 3, 2020 at Decatur Morgan Hospital-Decatur General Campus.
Mr. Chatman confessed hope in Christ at an early age and joined Mt. Mariah United Methodist Church in Talucah, AL.
He leaves to cherish his memory: a loving mother, Idella Chatman of Valhermoso Springs, AL; three sisters, Odessa Mitchell, Rosy (Charlie) Orr and Stella Haynes, all of Valhermoso Springs, AL; one brother, Danny Chatman of Priceville, AL; a special aunt, Annie P. Burton; special nephew, Bryan Gaines; special friends, Jeffrey Campbell and Judy Turner; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
