Louise (Price) Pointer

A Celebration of Life Service for Mrs. Louise Pointer of Danville, will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2019, 11:00 am at Oakville Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Robert Yarbrough, officiating and interment in the Lindsey Cemetery. The body will lie in repose one hour prior to the service. Public viewing will be Friday, 10:00 am to 6:00 pm at Reynolds Funeral Home.

Louise Price Pointer was born on March 18, 1925, to the late Lennie Brackins and Herbert Price in Landersville, AL. She departed this life on November 5, 2019 in Hartselle, AL.

Louise accepted Christ at an early age and united with Oakville Missionary Baptist Church where she served faithfully as an usher and choir member until her health began to deteriorate.  She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star. Her favorite hobby was fishing.

Louise is survived by: her children, Joyce (Harold) Freeman, Union, NJ, Charles Pointer Jr. (Inez) of Hartselle, Patricia Ann Wolfe of Danville, Vera Jackson of Moulton, Melvin Pointer (Gwen) of Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD and Johnny Paul Pointer of Hartselle; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-six great-grandchildren; a host of great great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
