A Celebration of Life for Mrs. Lunvenger Holland Pickett, 89 of Decatur, AL and formerly of Pulaski, TN will be noon Monday, October 27, 2025 at Union Grove P.B. Church with the Reverend Charles McElroy eulogist and Bishop Patrick O. Tucker host pastor. Inhumation will follow in Calvary Memorial Gardens. The body will lie in repose one hour prior to funeral. Public viewing will be Saturday from noon till 3 and Sunday from 1:00PM until 3:00PM at Reynolds Funeral Home.
Lunvenger Holland Pickett was born April 6, 1936 in Priceville, AL to the late Will and Mattie Garth Holland. She departed her life on September 16, 2025 at NHC Healthcare-Moulton.
Mrs. Pickett was a family woman who loved the Lord. She professed hope in Christ at a young age and served on the Mother's board at Greater Faith Christian Church in Pulaski, TN until her health began to fail her. Mrs. Pickett worked at Sandler Cleaner in Pulaski, TN.
Mrs. Pickett was preceded in death by: her husband, Lewis Pickett; two sisters, Emma Simpson and Isabella Lankford; six brothers, Charlie Holland, Ernest Holland, William Holland, John Lewis Holland, Virgin Holland and Osie Holland.
Mrs. Pickett leaves to cherish her memory and legacy; two sisters-in-law, Marie S Holland, Sheffield, AL and Lela Walton, Huntsville, AL; her precious nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews and a host of other family members and friends.
