A Celebration of Life and Graveside Service fir Mrs. Marion "EI" L. Jackson Sharpley, 77 of Moulton, Alabama will be 11:00 am Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at Moulton Memory Gardens with the Reverend Timothy Perryman officiating, Public viewing will be Monday from 1:00 till 6:00 pm at Reynolds Funeral Home. The body will lie in repose one hour prior to the service.
Marion Leatrice Jackson Sharpley was the youngest of ten siblings born to Fernanda & Hattie B. Jackson on August 18, 1943, in Landersville, AL. She departed this earthly life on July 6, 2021, at North Alabama Medical Center in Florence, AL.
Marion was a 1961 graduate from Moulton High School.
Mrs. Sharpley, affectionately called E.I., was known and loved by many children. She owned and operated a day care home for more than thirty years. She was also known for her cooking and baking.
Sister Sharpley was a dedicated member of Freeman Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church. She was a member of the choir and kitchen committee for a number of years. Sister Sharpley retired from the kitchen committee after serving faithfully for 45 years.
Marion was married to the late James Norman Sharpley.
She is survived by: her two loving children, Patrick (Cynthia) and Sondra E. Johnson (Karl); one granddaughter, Falon Sloan Sharpley, all of Moulton; one sister, Ollie Mae Young of Oxford, OH; one sister-in-law, Mary Louise Jackson of Moulton. Her memory is cherished by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
