Marlon ("Moo-Moo") Clopton Jr,

Graveside Service for Mr. Marlon "Moo-Moo" Clopton Jr., 37 of Decatur, Alabama will be 11:00 AM Friday, October 29, 2021 at Jones Cemetery with Minister Lorene Wade officiating. Public viewing will be Thursday from 1:00 PM till 6:00 PM at Reynolds Funeral Home.  

Marlon Clopton Jr., “Moo Moo” was born on Wednesday May 16, 1984, in Decatur AL to the proud parents of Marlon and Debra Pointer Clopton. Marlon transitioned this life on Sunday morning October 24, 2021 at Decatur-Morgan Hospital in Decatur, AL.

Marlon graduated from Austin High School. He accepted Christ as his personal Savior at an early age and joined the North Courtland Primitive Baptist Church. Marlon never met a stranger and had a great since of humor and was loved by all.  

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ralph and Rosie Lee Clopton Bowman, and Parker and Georgia Pointer.  

He will be lovingly remembered by: his 6-year-old son, Kennedy Major Clopton who he loved spending time with; parents, Marlon and Debra Clopton; brothers Maurice Antwan (Barbara) Clopton and Marlous Branyell (Donna) Clopton all of Decatur, AL, and Tyrone (Brandy) Pointer of Harvest, AL; one sister, Princester (Curtis) Coffey of Decatur, AL; his grandfather, Freddie Garner of Town Creek, AL and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
