Mary Louise (Tucker) Carter

A Celebration of Life for Mrs. Mary Louise Carter,75, of Dayton, Ohio and formerly of Decatur, Alabama will be noon Saturday at Moulton Height Missionary Baptist Church with Bishop Patrick Tucker officiating and Pastor Tracy Seltzer host pastor.

Mrs. Mary Louise Tucker Carter was born on July 17, 1948, to the late John Henry Tucker and Carrie Garth Tucker in Morgan County, Alabama. She transitioned on April 9, 2024, in Dayton, Ohio.
 

Mary confessed Christ and joined Moulton Heights M.B. Church at an early age. Mary graduated from Hartselle High School in Hartselle, Alabama. She worked and retired from Delphi.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents; sister Delois Tucker Lampkin; brothers John Tucker, Jr. and Gregory Tucker; aunts Desie Tucker Williams and Dora Tucker; uncle, Percy Garth.

Mary leaves to cherish her memory; two sons, Michael Carter and Torey Carter both of Dayton, OH; four sisters, Dorothy Tucker Burton, Wilma Tucker Cade, Marilyn Tucker and Annette Tucker; two brothers, Larry Tucker and Ray Tucker, aunts Doris Jones and Elizabeth Scott; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
