Melissa Diane (Carpenter) Alexander

Lisa was born May 8th 1959 in Valdosta, Ga. to Garland B. Carpenter and Iva Nell Gulley. Lisa was a caring mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She left this world unexpectedly on March 17th 2024 at the age of 64.

She had a personality that was one-of-a-kind, sweet and sassy. She loved God, her girls, her family, friends, plants, outdoors, and family beach trips. Lisa was preceded in death by her father Garland B. Carpenter, mother Iva Nell Gulley, and brother Garland Keith Carpenter.

The family held a private viewing on March 19th 2024. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

She is survived by her mother Judy Carpenter, brother Steve Carpenter (Teresa), three daughters Stephanie Bard, Jessica Gentry (Brian), and Melanie Williams (Jason); grandchildren- Nathan Hall, Makyla Bard, Tyler Gentry, Adalyn Gentry, and Jaxon Williams; nephews- Nicholas Lindsey (Katie) and Ty Carpenter (Tosha).

Although she is no longer of this world, she will always be with us in spirit.

A Celebration of Life will be 1:30PM Saturday May 11, 2024, at Pop Oliver Park 1735 16th Avenue SE Decatur, Alabama
