Public viewing for Mr. Addie will be Thursday, February 20th from 1:00PM until 4:00PM and the family will receive friends Thursday from 4:00PM until 5:30PM in the chapel of Reynolds Funeral Home.

Michael Anthony “Teddy” Addie, Jr. passed away at his home in Hartselle on Saturday, February 15 at the age of 29. He was born in Decatur, Alabama on August 16, 1995, and is survived by his parents Michael and Marshell Addie, sisters Tia and Teneshia Addie, and brothers Justin and Prince Johnson. A host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Teddy was a kind and gentle soul, always willing to lend a helping hand. His infectious smile could brighten anyone's day. He held a deep love for his family, God, and his church. Teddy enjoyed cooking, cleaning, and shopping. He was known for his impeccable style, especially his love for Air Jordan shoes. He also had an impressive collection of shades and it was rare to see him when he wasn’t wearing them.  

He was loved by many and he will be deeply missed.
