Graveside Service for Mr. Michael Aldridge,65, of Trinity, Alabama will be noon Tuesday at Calvary Memorial Gardens. Public viewing will be Monday from 1:00PM until 5:00PM at Reynolds Funeral Home. Family Visitation will be Tuesday from 10:00AM until 11:30AM in Reynolds Funeral Home Chapel.
It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected loss of Michael ‘Mike’ Glenn Aldridge at his home in Trinity, Alabama on Thursday, May 16, 2024. A loving son, devoted husband, exceptional father, wonderful nephew, best cousin, and loyal friend...he left these parts of himself with all of us, which we hold dear. Though our hearts are heavy, we are thankful for the wonderful years he was loaned to us.
He is survived by a loving wife of 39 years, Glenda Aldridge; a son, Tyler Aldridge of Atlanta, Georgia; a daughter, Taylor Aldridge of Decatur,Alabama; Parents, Starling and Wilma Irvin of Priceville, Alabama; an Uncle, Willis Aldridge of Huntsville Alabama; Aunts, Ella Faye Warner (Julian) of Priceville, Alabama, Lilah Pressley of Alpharetta, Georgia; Sisters-in-law, Ruby Jones and Gail Jones both of Redbank, Alabama, Harriet Crayton (Adam) of Decatur, Alabama, Shirley Woods of Town Creek, Alabama, Bernadine Jones of Muscle Shoals, Alabama, a brother-in-law, Dale Payne of Hillsboro Alabama; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins; and a "ride or die" best friend, James Stewart, of Hartselle, Alabama; Special cousins: A.C Davis of Decatur, Alabama, Monica Fletcher of Priceville, Alabama; lifelong friends: Denise Buford of Decatur, Alabama and Chanese Hill of Hillsboro, Alabama; and good friend and neighbor, Steve Cater (Sharon) of Decatur, Alabama.
Mike entered this world on October 12, 1958, and was the apple of his parents' eye. At an early age, he dedicated his life to God at Sandhill Missionary Baptist Church in Priceville. He was a good steward, providing countless hours of mentoring and being a father figure foryoung people, visiting the sick and shut-in, helping the elderly, and providing support/friendship to those in need. On May 16th, the Lord decided that his work here was complete and called home to the higherplace.
