Na'Im-mikal Wayne Sanders

A Celebration of Life for Mr. Na'Im-mikal Sanders, 38 of Decatur, Alabama will be noon Saturday, August 31, 2024, at Reynolds Funeral Home with the Reverend George Allen officiating. Inhumation will follow in Sterrs Cemetery.  The body will lie in repose one hour prior to funeral service.  Public viewing will be Friday from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Reynold Funeral Home.

Na'Im-mikal Wayne Sanders was born in Courtland, Alabama, to Jacqueline Sanders and the late Wendell Scott. He departed this life on August 24, 2024, in Huntsville, Alabama.

Na'Im-mikal attended Decatur City Schools, where he was known for his outgoing and loving nature. He never met a stranger and had a deep affection for others, especially his G.E. co-workers and family.

Na'Im-mikal was preceded in death by his grandparents, Clinton and Helen Sanders, Woodsie Scott, and Mary Kelley-Jones.

He leaves behind to cherished his memories with: his daughter, Ja'Khia Sanders;  his bonus son, Darnell Long, both of Decatur; his mother, Jacqueline Sanders of Decatur; his siblings, Tamela Raybon, Ashanti Sanders, Wendell Boykins;  his bonus sister, Dyana Miller, all of Decatur;  a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will miss him dearly.
