Ollie B. (Garth) White

A Celebration of Life Service for Mrs. Ollie B. White, 79, of Moulton, Alabama will be noon Wednesday March 11, 2026, at Pleasant Grove M.B. Church with the Reverend Jimmy Baliey officiating. Inhumation will follow in Pleasant Grove Church Cemetery. Mrs. White will lie in repose one hour prior to service.

Public viewing will Tuesday March 10, 2026, from 1:00PM until 5:00PM at Reynolds Funeral Home.

Mrs. Ollie White was born December 14, 1946  in Lawrence County, Alabama to the late Richard Mason Jr. and Edna Garth. She made her eternal transition on March 4, 2026 at Huntsville Hospital.

Ollie accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age. She was a faithful & committed member of the Pleasant Grove M.B. Church where she was Chairperson of the Mother's Ministry. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers: Herman Garth, Robert Garth, James Garth, Jessie Garth and Lawson Garth; two sisters, Annie B. Goines and Penny Stanley.

She is survived by her husband  Mr. James T. White Sr; three children, Gleria Mitchell (Greg) of Hillsboro, AL, Tyrone Bowling (Linda) of Huntsville, AL and Vanessa Mason of Sheffield, AL; two sisters, Emma Jean Garth and Effie Garth both of Courtland, AL;  a step-son James White Jr.;  two stepdaughters, Andrea Goliday (Gary) of Florence, AL and Vanessa Johnson (Travis) of Muscle Shoals, AL; one sister-in-law, Gail Tompkin; four brothers-in-law, Donnell Tompkin, Omar Tompkin, Corey Tompkin and Johnny James; 13 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren, and a host of beloved nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
