Orstella Virginia (Hullett) Mason

A Celebration of Life for Mrs. Orstella Virginia Hullett Mason, 73 of Decatur, Alabama will be noon Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at Oakville Christian Faith Center and inhumation to follow in Lindsey Memorial Gardens.  The body will lie in repose one hour prior to funeral. Public viewing will be Tuesday from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Reynolds Funeral Home.

Orstella was born August 22, 1949 in the Oakville community of Lawrence County, Alabama to the late Cluster and Annie Bell Griffin Morris.  She departed this life on March 1, 2023 at the Decatur General Campus of Decatur Morgan Hospital in Decatur, Alabama.

She accepted Christ at an early age at Oakville Missionary Baptist Church and later united with Minor Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Decatur, Alabama. 
She attended Moulton High School and was employed for many years at Wayne Farms and EP South as an operator.

She was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Ollice Mason, Sr. and to this union four children were born, Ollice Jr., Eric, Rodney and Darrel Mason.

She enjoyed fishing, cooking, and singing.  She loved her family and will be missed by all that knew her.

She leaves to cherish her memory: children, Ollice Mason, Jr. (Kristy) of Decatur, Eric Mason of Massey, Rodney Mason and Darrel Mason both of Decatur; siblings, Ann Waddle of Decatur, Janice Willard, Linda Young and Viola Prince (Jerry) all of Moulton, Donald Ray Hullett and Timoth Hullet both of Oakville; brothers-in-law, Henry Mason of Courtland, John Mason of Falkville, Leroy Mason of Chattanooga, TN and Henry Jackson of Hillsboro; two aunts, Ora Nell Hurley of Danville and Purfice Boyd of Moulton; one special friend, Kerwin Strain and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
