Preston Elliott Jr.

A memorial gathering and repast for of Mr. Preston Elliott Jr.,80, of Decatur, Alabama will be held at noon Saturday, September 23, 2023 at Unity Fellowship Church with the Reverend Eddie Rose Allen officiating and the Reverend Patrick Franklin, host pastor.

Preston Elliott was affectionately called "Bo" was born on August 7, 1943 in Lawrence County, Alabama to the late Lillie Mae Bell Elliott and Preston Elliott, Sr.  He departed this life on September 14, 2023, at Decatur Morgan Hospital.

He accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Love Chapel CME Church of Trinity Alabama. Preston was the father of five and was born in a family of 13 children.

He is preceded in death by; his wife, Rayonia Elliott; a son, Juan D. Elliott; grandson, Keegan Walker; his parents, Preston and Lillie Mae Elliott; five sisters, Ernestine Johnson, Catherine McDaniel, Flora Moody, Virginia Jackson and Joann Elliott; two brothers Albert Elliott and Frank Elliott.

He leaves to cherish in his memory: two daughters, Shervon Elliott and Tawana (Jay) Johnson both of Louisville, KY; six grandchildren, Jutona Elliott, Charvonte Wright, Charteonia Wright, Jonaysha Martin, Zahnay Elliott and Juaya Johnson; three sisters, Maggie Elliott, Vivian McDonald both of Louisville KY and Rickey Sue Elliott of Decatur; two brothers, Larry Elliott and Oscar Elliott both of Decatur and host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and friends
