Reynolds Funeral Home announces with deepest sympathy the passing of Rickey Jones, Sr. of East St Louis, Illinois. He departed this life on August 8, 2016. The funeral service for Mr. Jones will be announced at a later date in Illinois.

Mr. Jones was born on May 8, 1961, to the late P. C. Rogers and Nancy Lue Jones in St. Louis, MO.

He attended schools in Venice, Illinois. After graduation he attended college in Jacksonville, Illinois, and joined the U. S. Navy. Rickey moved to Decatur, Alabama and was employed by the Falkville Wood Treating Company, Falkville Alabama.

He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, James Rogers, Twila Lane, Linda Swift.

He is survived by: a daughter, Tishea Jones of Belleville, IL; a son, Rickey Jones, Jr. of Miami, FL; two grandchildren, Jamarii Brown and Ariana Jones; siblings, Clifton Jones (Karen) of Maryville, IL, Jerry Kinney (Bill) of Alton, IL, Ella Clay of Collinsville, IL,
