Robert Jackson

A Celebration of Life for Robert Jackson, 43 of Decatur will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday in the Holmes Chapel of Decatur Baptist Church with the Reverend Troy Garner officiating and inhumation in Decatur City Cemetery.  The body will lie in repose one hour prior to service.  The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 5:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m. at Reynolds Funeral Home. 

Robert was born February 13, 1976 in Detroit, Michigan to Sarah Jackson. He departed this life Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at his residence.

Robert began his journey of faith at an early age going to church with his family. He was a member of Decatur Baptist Church and also fellowshipped with The Fellowship of Faith Church in Huntsville.

Robert was a graduate of Decatur High School Class of 1994 where he played basketball.  He also graduated from Calhoun Community College in 2018.  Robert loved cruise ships and had taken over 20 cruises.

Robert leaves to cherish his memory: a loving wife, Lisa Kennedy-Jackson of Decatur; two sons, Deion Jackson of Cheney, WA, and Cedric Pointer of Huntsville AL; one grandson, Dimitri Jackson of Cheney, WA; a loving mother, Sarah Jackson; two brothers, Ronald Jackson, Jr. and Reginald (Reggie) Jackson; one sister, Roshanda (Shawn) Jackson all of Decatur; two stepdaughters, Victoria Kennedy (Thelma) of Radcliff, KY, Vanessa Kennedy (Ollie) Williams of Antioch, TN; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
