Graveside Service for Mr. Robert Kelly III, 70 of Decatur, Alabama will be 2:00 pm Thursday at Decatur City Cemetery. Public viewing will be Wednesday from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Reynolds Funeral Home.
Robert James Kelley III was born the eldest of four children on July 8, 1950 to the late Robert Kelley Jr. and Arvella Staton-Kelley in Morgan County, Alabama. He departed this life on February 28, 2021 at Athens-Limestone Hospital in Athens, AL.
Robert attended Lakeside High School in Decatur, Alabama and later received a welding degree from Nashville Tech. in Nashville, Tennessee. He retired in 2012.
Robert had a strong faith in Jehovah God and his son Jesus Christ. He dedicated his life to do the will of God by water baptism on January 1, 1970 as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
On August 19, 1987, Robert flew to the Philippines and was united in marriage to his wife, Virginia Caison. He and his family continued to serve our heavenly Father until his death.
Robert is survived by; his loving and devoted wife, Virginia Caison Kelley of Decatur, AL; one daughter Ayriann (Daniel) Smith of Decatur, AL; one grandson, Kaylon Cohn of Decatur, AL; siblings, Clarence Kelley, John Lee Kelley, and Patricia (Houston) Goines all of Decatur, AL; two aunts, Dorothy Kelley-Davis of Decatur, AL and Christina Brown of Toledo, Ohio; a special sisterly- cousin, Margaret Ann Langford of Decatur, AL; and a host of loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and spiritual brothers and sisters worldwide.
