Robert Arthur Scruggs

Robert Arthur Scruggs, 63  was born September 20 1961, in San Bernardinoq, CA to Arnon Lamar Scruggs, and Elma Jane Sowers Scruggs was called home to his Lord and Savior on July 19, 2025 surrounded by his loving family after a lengthy illness.

Robert was a jack of all trades, and knowledgeable in electrical, plumbing, construction, automotive, all flooring, and custom rug creation. He owned and operated Scruggs Rugs and Floor Coverings in Milton, FL from 2005-2018. His favorite past time was working in his shop with his grandson Finnley.

He is preceded in death by both parents, sisters Cindy, Paula, Cheryl, and brother Danny.

He is survived by his loving wife, and best friend of 44 years Cynthia”Cindy” Hall Scruggs, son Johnathon (Britta) Scruggs, daughter Megan (Lauren) Wallace, his beloved grandson Finnley Wallace, and host of nieces, and nephews.

Robert will be remembered for his unwavering love for his family, his generous heart, and artistic talent. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

We are grateful to the doctors, nurses, and staff of Decatur Morgan Hospital for their care like family treatment of not only Robert, but his family. 

A celebration of life will be held at a later date for family and close friends.
