Ronald Echols

A Celebration of Life Service for Ronald Lynn Echols will be 1:00 pm, Saturday, June 22, 2019, at Freeman Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church, with the Rev. Timothy Perryman, officiating and interment in Moulton Memory Gardens. Public viewing will Thursday, 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm and Friday, 10:00 am - 6:00 pm. The body will lie in repose one hour prior to service.

Ronald Lynn Echols was born August 23, 1959 in Moulton, Alabama to Willodean Lee Echols and the late James Henry Echols.  He departed this life June 16, 2019 at his residence in Moulton, AL.

Ronald confessed hope in Christ at an early age and became a member of Freeman Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church. He attended Moulton High School and Lawrence County High School.

Ronald served in the US Army from 1976-1982 as a Petroleum Supply Specialist.  While serving in the US Army, Ronald received a Medal for Good Conduct, Driver Badge, Overseas Service Ribbon and an Army Service Ribbon.  He later received an Honorable Discharge.

He was preceded in death by his father and his brother, Jimmy Ray Echols. 

Ronald leaves to cherish his memory: a loving mother, Willodean Lee Echols; a loving stepmother, Almetia Echols; he also leaves beautiful memories,  to his loving sisters, Mrs. Belinda (Posey) Gholston, Yolonda Echols, Brenda Echols and Aretha (Chandler) Pruitt; loving brothers, Jeffrey Echols,  Michael Echols and James Antoine (Frances) Owens; and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews, cousins and friends and a very special cousin Demetrius Echols.
