Reynolds Funeral Home announces with deepest sympathy the passing of Mrs. Rosette Criau, 97, of Hartselle, Alabama. Rosette Augustine Simone Criau was born on August 6, 1926, in Belgium to Catherine Gustavine Barbe Coessens and Albert Van Eycken.
Rosette and her husband moved to Atlanta, Ga years later. Rosette worked over 20 years beside her husband running their business called Dankaert Machinery in Georgia. She then retired and became a homemaker. She always loved visiting family and friends and was always smiling.
Rosette was a very loving and sweet person and everyone she came in contact with loved her. She also enjoyed reading, sitting outside on the porch and watching people walk by.
Rosette loved drinking “Shakes and Fries” and never turned it down. She always loved going places and enjoyed being outdoors as well as being pampered by getting her nails and hair done. She also enjoyed Hallmark movies. Rosette was a strong and amazing woman and was loved by so many.
Her parents, husband Roger Criau ,and son Marc Criau and her daughter in law Sherri Criau preceded her in death.
She is survived her grandson Chris Criau of Hartselle, Alabama; daughter in law Carolina Criau; Goddaughter Miriam De Gheus of Belgium; 5 Grandchildren ,7 Great Grandchildren , and 3 Great great Grandchildren all of Georgia, Colombia, and Alabama: A best best friend (like Sister) Anne-Marie De Gheus of Belgium.
