Graveside services for Mr. Ryan Dean Troupe 45 of Athens, Alabama will be Noon, Tuesday May 17, 2022 at Oakland Cemetery with Rev. Fred Jefferson officiating. The body will lie in repose one hour prior to service. Public viewing will be Monday May 16, 2022 from 1:00PM until 6:00PM at Reynolds Funeral Home. Mr. Troupe transitioned Wednesday May 11, 2022 at Athens Limestone Hospital.
Ryan Dean Troupe was born on September 14, 1976 to Eddie Dean and Glenda L. Troupe. He departed this life on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at Athens Limestone Hospital.
Ryan accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age. He joined the Morning Star United Methodist Church under the leadership of Pastor Fred Jefferson.
Ryan attended Tanner High School where he played on the Tanner Rattlers football team for five seasons, playing positions as Defensive end, line-back and guard. He played starting positions for three years. His proudest athletic achievement was paying and being instrumental in helping the 1994 team achieve a 13-1 record. He graduated in 1996.
He was employed by Vulcan Plastic at the time of his departure.
Loving memories of Ryan will be cherished by his daughters, Patience Troupe, Zenobia Troupe; son, Za-Ryan Troupe; his parents, Eddie Dean and Glenda L. Troupe; siblings, Tiffany Nicole Troupe, brother, Calvin Troupe.
Ryan’s memories will also be cherished by grandparents, Edna Mae Russell, Ella Mae Pitts, J. C. Pitts; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A special best friend, Vanessa Harbin.
