Funeral Service for Ms. Sallie Hullett,67, of Decatur, Alabama will be noon, Saturday at Macedonia C.P.C.A. with the Rev. John Mason officiating. Inhumation will follow in Calvary Memorial Gardens. The body will lie in repose one hour prior to service. Public viewing will be Friday from 1:00PM until 5:00PM at Reynolds Funeral Home.
Sallie “Diane” Hullett was born in Decatur, Alabama on December 7, 1956, to the late Clyde Hullett and Lebirtha Mason. Sallie affectionally known as “Diane” departed this life September 16, 2024 at Decatur Morgan Hospital, surrounded by family.
Diane accepted Christ at an early age at the Pentecostal House of Prayer under the leadership of the late Pastor A.C. Strong.
Diane grew up in Decatur, Alabama. She was a beloved and respected employee at Wayne Farm for over twenty-five years until retirement as a supervisor.
Diane had a gift for conversation and an unrelenting passion for connecting with others. She will be forever remembered and honored by all who knew her. Diane’s favorite quote “In a Minute” will always be a reflection of her being close to your heart and mind.
She was preceded in death by both parents, Lebirtha Mason and Clyde Hullett; twin brothers, Carl Edwards and George Edwards; and brothers, Richard Mason and Charles Hullett.
Sallie leaves to cherish her memory: two sons, Markus (Evonna) Clark of Huntsville, AL, and Devante Wheaton of Dayton, OH; bonus daughter, Cathy( Mario) Nicholas of Decatur, Alabama; two sisters, Betty (Michael) Barren of Montgomery, AL, and Lisa Hullett of Decatur, AL; one brother, Clyde Hullett of Huntsville, AL; several aunts, Ernestine (Robert) Mason of Athens, AL, special loving aunt, Dora Mae Mason and Clara Mae Mason; special cousin, James Mason; two grandchildren, ShiQuarius Clark and LaQuincyia Watkins; two great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and friends
