A Celebration of Life for Ms. Sandra “Nana” Harris, 59, of Decatur, Alabama will be noon Tuesday at Lifeline Church with the Reverend Jerry Brown officiating and the Reverend Amos Williams eulogist. Inhumation will follow in Sterrs Cemetery. The body will lie in repose one hour prior to funeral.
Public viewing will be Monday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM at Reynolds Funeral Home.
Sandra “Nana” Harris was born on December 7, 1966, in Lawrence County, Alabama, to the late Robert Mason and Arstella Harris Garth. Her stepfather the late Lewis Garth helped raised her as a young girl. She departed this life on July 14, 2026, at Huntsville Hospital in Huntsville, Alabama.
She attended school in Lawrence County, Alabama, and later attended Decatur High School in Decatur, Alabama. She was known to be the best cook in the family. Sandra was the person who everyone wanted to babysit their children in the community. Sandra was a loving, caring person, and will be deeply missed by all that knew her.
Sandra was preceded in death by her parents: Robert Mason and Arstella Garth, her stepfather; Lewis Garth, a brother; Kennedy “Bo” Harris, son-in-law; Dewitt Williams, and sister-in-law; Viva Garth.
She leaves to cherish her memory: three daughters: Lakesha Renee Williams; Trimekia Shante (Olandress) Hampton, and Nyquita Sada Harris all of Decatur, Al., four grandsons; Bricen Lamar Harris, Jabrell Malik Hampton, Jaden Jerez Williams, and Kamarion Lamere Harris, two granddaughters; A’Nyla Samne Harris and Tamaris Lenea Williams; five sisters; Geraldane Harris, Monica Garth, Beverly (Kenneth) Freeman, Tiffany (Anthony) Viator, and Jazmine Mason, four brothers; Robert Harris, Lewis Garth Jr., Aundra Marcelle Garth Sr., and Stanley (Andrea), Cohn all of Decatur, Al. a bonus son; Nicholas Williams, Jr.; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends
